Sea Otters

Sea Otters are a favorite species, and I’ve been lucky to have access to a couple of places — Morro Bay Harbor and Elkhorn Slough — where they are reliably seen and easy to photograph without causing them stress or disruption. They are fascinating and fun animals to sit and study and take pictures of over time.

Now that I’m in the Pacific Northwest, it’s unclear when or where I’ll be able to visit these beasts again, but I do hope to be able to sit down ad share time and space with them in the future.
