Photo Wednesday: Mule Deer

I was walking through Sweet Springs Nature Preserve new Morro Bay one day when I suddenly realized I was being watched. I looked around, and saw this Mule Deer peekout out from some brush trying to figure out if I knew it was there and if I was a threat. It stayed very still, and I took a few quick shots, then slowly walked in the other direction to make it clear I wasn’t going to attack it. When I looked back, it had quietly disappeared back into the brush and moved on.
