New Work, August 2021
I finally got to a point in the post-move chaos I found my cameras, and then found my batteries, and then found my battery charger, so I was able to actually turn on a camera and consider using it. I ended up declaring an afternoon off from work and headed out to Point No Point, just to clear my head, relax a bit and sit out on the sand with the camera and start re-learning how it works.
The early results weren’t impressive, but I fairly quickly remembered how to make the auto-focus behave, and while the light wasn’t great and the birds weren’t plentiful, I still ended up with a few images I like. My first outing with a camera as a Washington resident started as a practice session, but ended up with a few good images..
Enjoy.
