Wall Art for the New House

As we continue to move in — the process of making your house your home — we’ve got the art up on the walls in the main living areas, and we’re happy with how that all looks. I have my office done, but the rest of the downstairs area is in process. We realized, though, that we really didn’t have art for the master bedroom. I suggested we use some of my landscapes, which Laurie happily agreed to, so I put together a set of candidates for her to look at, and had her choose her favorites.

I love all of these images as well and am happy with them. I’m having them printed at 16x24 by Bay Photo and they’ll be framed in their slim float frames in black on Moab fine art paper. for those curious the first is Newport Oregon near Yaquina Point at sunset (literally outside the room at Agate Beach Motel), the second is a winter shot of Half Dome in Yosemite from the valley floor, the third is Pigeon Point Lighthouse along the San Mateo coastline south of Pescadero and the fourth is Fern Spring in Yosemite. The fifth is one I added for myself, which is Morro Bay looking back at the town from the rock,

For those curious, here are the other images I offered her as options as well. They are all images I would enjoy looking at every day. I’d love to know your favorites if you have thoughts.
