Feathery Friday: Sandhill Cranes Dancing

One of the things I’m going to miss this winter is being able to get over to Merced National Wildlife Refuge, where I put a lot of effort into spending time and photographing Sandhill Cranes and the winter geese. I know I have options up here, but I haven’t yet had time or energy to start exploring them — but soon. Here, a crane is dancing to impress possible mates, and when the cranes dance, it’s magic. (I actually wrote an e-book about my time with the geese and cranes, if you want to see/learn about this)
