Feathery Friday: Cackling Goose Flock in Flight

Cackling Geese are a smaller cousin of the Canada Goose, and migrate in from Canada for their winter stay. One place they could commonly be found in numbers is in Central Valley’s Staten Island, a Nature Conservancy property. Here, a few thousand Cackling Geese react to a visiting raptor by launching into the air and screaming at the top of their lungs for a while….
