So I am back from Southern California for a bit. My sister, who was diagnosed with Lung Cancer about six weeks ago, passed away Tuesday night. She entered hospice about 3 weeks ago and friends and family have been gathered to be with her and try to keep her comfortable through this last journey.I'm back home because I needed to see Laurie and get my head back on straight a bit, but I'll be heading back down soon. Still much to do, starting with helping her partner figure out how to move forward, and eventually, help him deal with the family house they'd been working on to eventually move into together.The good news is her pain is over. The bad news is it's left a big hole in many people's lives.We're all starting that next journey now.Miss you, sis.
